Skill-Based Programs — questions schools ask

Can students enrol in a program themselves?

Yes. Students can self-register from the student portal, or admins and teachers can assign them. Capacity and eligibility by class or age are enforced, and extra students move to a waitlist automatically.

How is attendance taken for activities?

Sessions are scheduled per program and activity attendance is taken using the same attendance engine as class attendance, so there is no parallel system to learn or maintain.

Can programs charge a fee?

Yes. A program can carry an optional fee that flows through the existing Fees module into the same ledger, so activity fees collect and report alongside every other fee.

How do skill programs connect to achievements?

Completion certificates, points and badges from a program feed straight into the Achievement & Talent module and the house tally, so co-curricular progress shows on the student profile.
